Family,
It has been some time, yet again. I apologize for my constant absences over the past nine months but duty has been calling. I am currently in Hawaii and on my way home, finishing an endless deployment.
From Baghdad to Perth to the states, it has been an experience. But there is nothing like home, as I am sure everyone knows. I am planning on returning to the game once more and am looking forward to talking with you all on a regular basis. My account still stands stolen and until I have the access to a fax machine I will not know if it even still exists. Regardless, I will be online; I don't care if I have to purchase a new account and start from scratch, I will be there.
I will be in touch.

Holy crap man, hi!!! It's so good to hear that you're ok and still around. It sounds like you have really been around the world, and I very much look forward to hearing what stories I can of your travels.
Take care,
Timothy

Hurray! I'm always thrilled when you pop in; it's great to hear you're ok.
Looking forward to seeing your ass in-game again.
Take care of yourself until then. :-)

Welcome back man. We are all sort of separated in different guilds now, but the cool people still see these forums. Look us up.

Heya~
I am as healthy as a murlock ^.^ my friend and unskaved as well. It wasn't a difficult nine months for I am no longer special forces like I once was, but it was a long period of time regardless. There are always stories and I will gladly share them with you all! I am curious though. I look at the three of your profiles and it looks like you have switched games? Or servers? Thraska says the guild disbanded? I am just curious on where I should go to see you all =P
Anyway an easier way to communicate would be through my email, since our internet is slightly (Deathly) slow.

WoD is no longer together. Thraska and I are still playing on Bloodscalp (he has a new character, I'm still on Des). We have our own small guild, made up of mostly people who know each other in real life. Don't know if you remember Depraved/Bishi, but he's in it. We're very small, so we can't do big raids, but we're hoping to get into Karazhan soon. You'd be welcome to join us if you don't mind being in a guild that's pretty low-key about progression.
Kelshaw, with a number of other people, formed a new guild (Team Sportscoat) after WoD, which was a raiding guild but is no longer.
Maniaku (who now plays a paladin) also formed a guild (Crimson Beginnings), and there's a lot of old WoD people there as well. I'm honestly not sure where they are in the raiding/progression scale.
Timo/Griphus doesn't play anymore, neither does Thronsor, Rasta/Intervention is playing "in his spare time," Murtria passed away a few months ago.
I think most old WoD who are still playing are still on Bloodscalp with some guild and character changes.

WoD has ten people in it :P
Right now I have a DotA (warcraft III map) clan, and I'm playing a little bit of Diablo II: LoD.
Once Warhammer goes live I'll be really ramping everything up again. Until then it's semi-dormant.

Adversary-
Glad to hear you made it back ok. Thank you for serving. Let me know if you make it back to Bloodscalp. I'll hook you up with some gold and gear.

Hey~
I suppose all good things eventually have to come to end. I was telling Des how strange it is to see everything change so much; but I have been on the side lines for a long time now. But a guild title is not important nor if players eventually go seperate directions, I still look forward to chatting with all of you.
As for your offer Hecta, I truly appreciate it, but I should be fine economicaly. I do plan to return to BS and will go from there. I doubt I will be hardcore but I will be online none the less.
I have been playing D2 some since my deployment, but it has just been a first person expedition ^.^ I currently have a 49 barbarian; lol. But what is this warhammer that your are talking about?

Warhammer Online is the next big MMO (generation 3). It is slated for release the beginning of next year. www.warhammeronline.com is the website, and I'll be playing in the beta to start getting momentum going again.
If you ever want to look me up in D2:LoD I play on useast and you can /join clan ptw. The same goes for if you're on warcraft 3.
I know it seems like WoD has 'ended,' but I've opened and closed guilds in many games over many years, and had great communities in almost all of them. WoD in WoW was the best so far, but I hold high hopes for Warhammer as well. I'll have everything I learned in WoW to apply to it.

That, and you'll have a few solid people coming from WoD on WoW to WAR as well.
And me. You get me too.
