If I have already downloaded the client from fileplanet last night (open beta client) does that mean that I have to redownload this new client for the preview weekend? Or is the client I already downloaded the same one?

You don't have to download anything new. There will likely be a patch for you to download come this weekend, though.

I got my invite as well to Preview weekend. I can't wait!

I have been downloading from fileplanet since midnight. Ugh! Only at 66%.

Guess I am not destined to do the beta, tried for about an hour to turn off every security feature I could find on my computer, but no luck getting by Fileplanet's magic code you have to type in before you can download. I am usually a patient person, but right now I am plum out. Went and got a new headset tonight, got that loaded up, then I thought I would start the download. Sorry guys, I guess I'll stick with DAOC for another month. Check in after the 18th of Sept.

You can get the game through torrent too. Instead of fileplant I think.

Yeah i'm downloading it through torrent. Praying this computer will run it since the new one isn't here yet. I'm at 50% after 18 hours of downloading.
