i dunno how well it will work out because i didn't get to play the WH as much as i would have liked during PW, but for jacking healers this build might be pretty good. i just don't know if i'm giving up too much for it, we'll see.

something you might want to take a look at when trying to figure out your build

in the case of classes like witch hunter, i would just go fully into one path, taking all the skills, and only the best tactic. there are several tactics you get for free as you level, that will probably never leave your bar. and wh is one of the classes that will probably make the most out of its r4 morales.
a lot of people seem to be staying away from confession. but i gotta say, its really powerful. and most destro's wouldnt really expect it. a few of the eldar testers i know that play wh, are full confession, and they love it.
anyways, heres a rank40 wh rvr video

I'm a little confused looking at the talent trees as to what is going to be a passive skill buff and which will be hot bar actions.
Been trying to figure out by looking at them just how many skills are going to have to be bound.

This is the build I'll be going with. I'm fairly certain that if your class has access to a Mortal Strike type ability, you should take it. Also, Burn Away Lies is just too good to pass on. That left me with one talent point left over, so I picked up Pistol Whip for the 3 second stun. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with this build, even if I only benefit from three abilities, as they are, in my opinion, essential abilities.

Hexagon = Tactic, which is an equipable passive ability.
Square = Activated ability that you would place in your action bar
Circle = Morale ability that is clicked like an activated ability, but you can only use them once you reach a certain morale threshold. Morale thresholds are reached by continuous fighting without a long break between fights, and without dying.
Note that all of the top most tier abilities in all trees for all classes are Morale abilities, regardless of shape. I've noticed a lot of these talent calculators are misrepresenting the top tiers with squares, as opposed to the correct circles.

This is also good . . . in fact, I think it might be better than my initial build. Expurgation is phenomenal.

nice, the path breakdown link was very helpful.. after reading it i think that the confession path would be more my style. it's hard to say exactly how well a spec will do without playing with it but we'll see.
might use something more like this http://war.mmoguildsites.com/career_planner/witch_hunter?150400011101110000000000000
thanks for the helpful info varandel

Confession is quite awesome . . . without playing the specs, it's hard for me to say what I'd actually like to do.

Hex...yeah, what he said :D
I probably will end up in Confession with some fill out in Inquisition. I'm not big on having to work at a positional attack (Judgement) when things are happening at a rapid pace.

I have to agree that the different spec lines look great. One thing I did notice in the various beta scenarios is that is pretty easy to cover your back, collision is going to be a big factor in this game. I know that when I went 1:1 with a witch elf, I had no problem keeping them in front of me and cutting off their ability to circle strafe.
Witch Hunters get a nice ability that allows you to use positional attacks from anywhere (before lvl 10), this is really going to be nice when you have that big back/side skill cued up and need to strike from a less than desirable position.
