I'd like to flag this as a trial application since not much was said about the process for joining. I don't like to jump into a guild that I know nothing/little of the members and how they work and interact. Once I get to know some people and decide I like it here and ask for full membership.
1. What is the name of your main character in your 'main' game?

2. Tell us more about that character - what class, spec, etc is it? Why?
Level 10 summoner. Spec is going to be an elemental spec. I plan on running around with 15 (3 of each kind) of elemental and dropping novas and -elemental resistance bombs while the little guys clean up.
3. If you have alts, tell us about them.
I have a level 10 champion. I was going to have this be my main, but I don't there there is enough information out there for me to correctly build this character at this time. He will be parked until more info on skills and mechanics are known.
4. Tell us about your gaming history. What is your favorite game? Why?
I've gamed since I was 6. Long history. Console games until DAoC came out, joined the MMO scene there. Quit before the expansion because Mythic was too slow and balancing classes. Moved on to Asheron's Call 2, Quit because I got to the end game and there was none. Shadowbane, WoW, Fury Beta.
5. Are you playing any other games right now? Which ones?
Not really, just HGL. Though I will be playing Crysis when it comes out.
6. Are you a member of a community in those other games or have you been in the past?
Been in a guild in every game I've played.
7. What sorts of roles have you had within gaming communities? What are you like as a member of one? Please cite specific examples.
I have been a member. Never a leader. I just don't want the responsibility of leadership, I've seen fantastic guilds fade into nothingness after their leader goes MIA or a dispute in Vent goes bad. I play to have fun, not stress. I have moods, at times I am very active, and at other times I say nothing. I'm not the type to make many random useless comments. I usually only post when I have something I feel is worthwhile to say. I never mock others/new people for questions that I've heard 100 times.
8. How would you describe your play style?
Fun with progression. I play for fun, but I need/like to feel like I'm progressing in the game. I like progressing as fast as I can in most games, but avoid the feeling of a grind, if it isn't fun I'll find a different way to do it.
9. What days/hours are you usually available for activities/raids?
Evenings, and weekends, with varying days.
10. What sorts of ‘real life’ activities & commitments might keep you away?
Wife, Relatives, Real life (I keep it around and let it out from time to time).
11. What is your age and general location (state or region of the country is fine)?
Utah, age 23
12. Write a few sentences about you in ‘real life.’ What are your hobbies, interests, past, & future plans?
I went an accelerated university and go my degree in Computer Science. My hobbies are computers and spending time with my wife. I also enjoy the occasionaly racquetball match and golf game. My plans for the future are to get out of debt and enjoy what I enjoy doing in life.
13. Why do you want to join Tribe (what can this community do for you)?
I don't like to join and leave. So after some trial time with the guild I'll come back and edit this.
14. What do you have to offer Tribe (what can you do for the community and its members)?
I like knowing how things work and helping others understand it. I enjoy helping others. I'm a team player that can see how 5 team builds, though weaker individually, are stronger than 5 individual builds when put together.
15. What qualities and skills make you a good leader?
I am patient with others and enjoy helping others. Though I'm not the most elaborate person I know how to guide others to get where they need to be and understand what they need to understand.
16. What qualities and skills make you a good follower?
I am patient while waiting for others. I am reliable; Leaders don't have to worry about me, they can trust and know that I'll get my part done and can focus on others that need their more direct attention.
17. What are your strengths when it comes to gaming in general or in this game specifically? Would you be willing to help others acquire those strengths?
I am willing to help others acquire strengths that I have. I enjoy number crunching (to a point), and planning successful builds.
18. What are your weaknesses when it comes to gaming in general or in this game specifically? Are you willing to work on those weaknesses?
Sometimes when I'm not in the mood I'm just not vocal. I don't say much and just kind of drift along. If I need to, I'll deal with it.
19. How did you hear about Tribe? Why are you interested in us?

The sky is blue because of the moisture in the atmosphere. I absorbs the other colors and reflects blue light through it.

23. If you could chose one of two super powers in real life, the ability to become invisible or the ability to fly, which would you choose and why?
The ability to see 2 minutes into my own future. Have you seen the movie next? Definitely the coolest super power ever.
24. In general, how do you handle conflict?
Patiently, Calmly, and very carefully. (Ha, can't get much more general than that)
25. If you had an infinite supply of water and a 5 quart and 3 quart pail, how would you measure exactly 4 quarts?
Fill the 5. Fill the 3 from the 5. Empty the 3. Pour the 2 left in the 5 into the 3. Fill the 5 again. Top off the 3 and you have 4 left in the 5.
26. Suppose you go home, enter your house/apartment, hit the light switch, and nothing happens - no light floods the room. What exactly, in order, are the steps you would take in determining what the problem was?
1) Flip the light switch again
2) Flip the next closest light switch.
3) Turn things on to see if anything is getting power
4) Check the breaker if some things had power OR call the power company if nothing had power.
