1. What is the name of your main character in your 'main' game?
Botique.
2. Tell us more about that character - what class, spec, etc is it? Why?
Engineer level 11 currently Drone/Molotov/Bomber bound. I've been constantly rerolling her (and others) every few days trying to figure out what I want to do long term.
3. If you have alts, tell us about them.
Zamboni, Evoker level 20 Lash/LF/Venom Armor/Arc Legion bound. ShoRembo Summoner level 10. FR/EM/MotF/Warper bound.
4. Tell us about your gaming history. What is your favorite game? Why?
I'm very much into MMOs and not much else. I played Diablo back in 97 (I think) for about 7 months then tried a free trial of TheRealm. That pretty much hooled me on MMOs. I've played Everquest (extensively), AC, AO, DAoC, AC2, WoW, and probably some others (lots of betas that I haven't gone on to play).
5. Are you playing any other games right now? Which ones?
I have two acounts active on Everquest (third tour of duty there) but I'm going to cancel.
6. Are you a member of a community in those other games or have you been in the past?
I'm currently in a low raid content guild in EQ. I've been a member of a more top tier guild in EQ in the past. Any other guilds in other games has been strictly online friends.
7. What sorts of roles have you had within gaming communities? What are you like as a member of one? Please cite specific examples.
I haven't been much of a content contributor. I play well (usually) and come to raids and other group outtings. I honestly don't want to do the homework necessary to lead raids. I just like to play.
8. How would you describe your play style?
I'm usually a bit agressive. I stay within the group dynamic, though, so no wild crazy get the group killed kind of stuff.
9. What days/hours are you usually available for activities/raids?
I'm usually on from 5pm to 9pm CST during the week. Most of most weekend days can be spent playing.
10. What sorts of ‘real life’ activities & commitments might keep you away?
The dog goes to the groomer every other Saturday morning. Also, I actually go "out" once in awhile.
11. What is your age and general location (state or region of the country is fine)?
I am 54 and live in Dallas, TX area.
12. Write a few sentences about you in ‘real life.’ What are your hobbies, interests, past, & future plans?
I work full time then come home and game for the most part. I read books often. In the future I plan to retire and become a man of leasure.
13. Why do you want to join Tribe (what can this community do for you)?
I want to group up. In all these MMOs (and whatever HGL types are) I want to group up. I'm not the soloist type.
14. What do you have to offer Tribe (what can you do for the community and its members)?
I'll be there to group up with others. I can help in quests when needed. That's about it that I can think of. I'm there and group friendly.
15. What qualities and skills make you a good leader?
I'm not a great leader because I'm too lazy to be one.
16. What qualities and skills make you a good follower?
I can follow the crowd and am willing to accept doing activities that I don't necessarily want to do for myself. I'm not a total sheep, though. I will contribute ideas and suggestions.
17. What are your strengths when it comes to gaming in general or in this game specifically? Would you be willing to help others acquire those strengths?
I've been a pretty good player in many other games. I've yet to prove myself in any way in HGL. I am always (mostly) willing to sacrifice time to help others.
18. What are your weaknesses when it comes to gaming in general or in this game specifically? Are you willing to work on those weaknesses?
I'm not willing to spend time surfing the net to figure out exactly how to beat the raid. I'm not sure that HGL even has such content.
19. How did you hear about Tribe? Why are you interested in us?
I read the HGL forums for guild hookups. I'm interested in Tribe because your description seems to fit what I want out of a guild. I want to group up as much as possible.
20. Do you know any current members of Tribe? If so, please list them.

Why is the sky blue? It's a conspiracy by the nitrogenites living in the upper atmosphere.

23. If you could chose one of two super powers in real life, the ability to become invisible or the ability to fly, which would you choose and why?
Wow, that's a tough one. Fly would be more fun but would have more problems associated with it (filing flight plans, dealing with NTSB restrictions, and all that cold weather gear I'd need). Invisibility seems so much more practical (avoiding fight plans, hiding from the NTSB, hmmm ... there seems to be a problem about cold gear here too). They both suck! Couldn't I just be Invulnerable or something?
24. In general, how do you handle conflict?
I can get angry but I shrug it off very quickly. I'm very non-confruntational.
25. If you had an infinite supply of water and a 5 quart and 3 quart pail, how would you measure exactly 4 quarts?
I'd break out a Vid with Bruce Willis and Samual L. Jackson it. I'm sure that subject will be covered.
26. Suppose you go home, enter your house/apartment, hit the light switch, and nothing happens - no light floods the room. What exactly, in order, are the steps you would take in determining what the problem was?
(1) Find the flashlight. (2) Find the fire starter. (3) Take said fire starter over to all of the candles. (3) Check to see if I can detect electric lights at the neighbors' houses. (4) Take flashlight out to the garage and check the breakers. (5) Sit and stew untl the lights come on.
