1. What is the name of your main character in your 'main' game?
Krivvv in HGL.
2. Tell us more about that character - what class, spec, etc is it? Why?
BM,lvl 15, I am using SOJ and still working on my build. I want to finish the first run through the game and then start an elite Guardian.
3. If you have alts, tell us about them.
I also have a lvl 22 Summoner with warper/FE build.
4. Tell us about your gaming history. What is your favorite game? Why?
I have played computer games since way back when on the C64. My first online game was D2. I did play Diablo, but never online. I like to play both FPS and RPG games. I prefer the online aspect of running with friends, but I occasionally fire up the single player portion of those games. I have tried a ton of MMORPG, trying to get into as many betas as I can to try the game out without purchasing it.
5. Are you playing any other games right now? Which ones?
Currently, I am playing COD4, HGL, and Wow. I am down to once per week in WOW, mostly just to keep in touch with people I've been gaming with for years.
6. Are you a member of a community in those other games or have you been in the past?
I currently am a member of the WiH community and Baraka (my wow guild).
7. What sorts of roles have you had within gaming communities? What are you like as a member of one? Please cite specific examples.
I was a GM of a Wow guild for a year and a half. I gave up the leadership due to RL circumstances. I had a little girl and I preferred hanging with her and the wife to leading the guild. As a member, I like to hang out and game with people who I like. Gear/loot is secondary to me, I prefer the experience and fun that communities offer. I also understand the demands of running a community so I am pretty easy going in game.
8. How would you describe your play style?
I am casual. Due to my family and career, I can't game for 2-4 hours a day like I use to. Now I hope to get a couple days of week of gaming, usually 1-3 hours at a time.
9. What days/hours are you usually available for activities/raids?
In the immediate future, I am not available for raids. I am available for shorter activities, 1-3 hours at a time.
10. What sorts of ‘real life’ activities & commitments might keep you away?
My wife and little girl, my job, and I am taking a few classes to determine what type of post grad degree I would like to pursue.
11. What is your age and general location (state or region of the country is fine)?
30, Plano, TX (a Dallas suburb)
12. Write a few sentences about you in ‘real life.’ What are your hobbies, interests, past, & future plans?
I recently moved from Chicago to Dallas, so I am taking full advantage of a winter that allows you to enjoy activities outside. I like to bike and jog. I played rugby for 12 years and recently gave it up due to taking a position that requires me to work until 6-7 PM. I am working on continuing my education.
I am also a big LSU fan....geaux tigers!!!!
13. Why do you want to join Tribe (what can this community do for you)?
I am looking for an active community in HGL that also participates in other games that I enjoy. Having a good community to game with really increases the enjoyment that I get from gaming.
14. What do you have to offer Tribe (what can you do for the community and its members)?
I am an easy going person who prefers to do things in groups, even if it means doing quests/fights that I have already completed. I also have enough drama to deal with at work, so I do not bring it into the game.
15. What qualities and skills make you a good leader?
I run a successful business in RL. Skills I use are leading by example, listening to others needs and doing all I can to make a situation work out, helping others to do better even if I don't get an immediate benefit, and actually caring about the situation of others around me.
16. What qualities and skills make you a good follower?
I use the experiences of others around me to make myself better. I listen to suggestions and look at others with more experience so that I don't try to reinvent the wheel.
17. What are your strengths when it comes to gaming in general or in this game specifically? Would you be willing to help others acquire those strengths?
I can follow direction. I try to understand others role in the group so that I let them do what they are best at.
18. What are your weaknesses when it comes to gaming in general or in this game specifically? Are you willing to work on those weaknesses?
I could definitely improve my "twitch" reflexes. The lack of those gets me killed in COD4. I always try to do better and strive to help my team win.
19. How did you hear about Tribe? Why are you interested in us?
I found you with a google search and have been lurking as a guest for a little bit. I like the application process. I am find that groups who say give me a name and location and shoot out an invite tend to lose people quickly. I have been gaming with my WOW guild for almost 3 years now. I like consistency in membership.
20. Do you know any current members of Tribe? If so, please list them.
Unfortunately, I do not.
21. Why is the sky blue? OR Why are manholes round?
Manholes are round to keep them from falling into the hole.
22. List 10 adverbs or adjectives describing you.
wow.....I have to remember what an adverb is.
23. If you could chose one of two super powers in real life, the ability to become invisible or the ability to fly, which would you choose and why?
Fly, because it would but down on time I spend waiting.
24. In general, how do you handle conflict?
Listen to find a solution. I also find an apology, even if it wasn't my fault, go a long way to fixing the situation in a timely manner.
25. If you had an infinite supply of water and a 5 quart and 3 quart pail, how would you measure exactly 4 quarts?
Hmm...didn't they have that problem in Die Hard 85?
26. Suppose you go home, enter your house/apartment, hit the light switch, and nothing happens - no light floods the room. What exactly, in order, are the steps you would take in determining what the problem was?
After turning the switch back to off, I would check the bulbs, then the breaker. After that, I am calling the electrician b/c I am not the handiest person around.

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender says, "Hey, why the long face?!"
