Decided on class and have an idea!

Well, after thinking long and hard (lol) about it, I have decided that I am going to level a sorcerer I started her last night, and I am already having a blast. Also after spending most of the day searching the interwebs looking for a good/up to date class guide I have discovered something troubling, there doesn't seem to be one. SO I am going to be taking notes as I level and I am going to try and put one together. Along with starting a leveling guide. As I level I will be posting to a blog that I will be putting up starting tomorrow, I will be posting observations, and experiences, and random BS, that i find funny/interesting. I welcome guest writers so if you are interested in doing something like this let me know and I will add you as an author, and create a page for you to post to.

I'm really looking forward to getting this going and hope that some of you will join me in making one of THE places to go to for in-depth Aion info.

This sounds like a great idea Matt! If you'll let me know where I can read this, I'm really interested... I seem to have issues leveling as it is, and would welcome any kind of insight for a ranged class! [I'm a kiting master you know].

I like to help my husband set his bars up for maximum efficiency, and maybe could help contribute in some way.... If I get approved, that is! =3

Good idea, Matt! Having knowledge is one thing, but it's a rare show of character entirely to share it with those around you. I too know how fun scorcerers can be, and I'm not usually a fan of 'clothy' classes. I'll be interested to read about what you've experienced. Should be a good guide!

To be honest with all that's been going on, I haven't had a chance to update this post. I will probably actually be using the blog as more of a platform for my Aion experiences in general, upon thinking and my wife starting to play as well I have shifted my leveling focus more to my Gladiator (level 25), but still really want to level my sorc.

i have an idea I will PM you both with it and we'll see what y'all think of it and if you like it the idea, and what not we will see about going forward with it. Expect the PM shortly.

Im bored at work and cant play FFXIV so I will find a good Sorc guide that I used with my sorc and link it :) It's an amaxing class and THEE most useful class in the game besides cleric. Tanks are sadly overrated as a good sorc can CC and Tank any boss. (including Dark Poeta)... Trust me on this ;) Anywho guide to come :)

This level guide is for RANGERS, but it is acceptable for sorcs also.
I kinda like this one I've put togeather ( I made it ) :)

None of these are range mobs. Enjoy

1-16: Level using swords, when you get your lv 10 item pick a sword not a bow. This will let you lv fast using melee skills. Once you get 16 drop the swords forever and pick up a nice bow. This is when you can kite efficently without mobs resetting.

16-20: Quest Impetusium + Grind Black Claw Elites - From Traders Berth to Impetusium to Black Claw Village there is a good place to kite there.

20-25: Quest grind is still fastest at this point in Moreheim + Brusthonin.

25-29: NTC Abyss. Go into this dungeon as many times as possible. has a lockout of 14 hours I believe. Last time you want to enter it is lv 28.9 so that you kill 1-2 monsters and lv. *** Cannot enter after lv 29 *** So if your group is fail just keep inviting people in so you finish off.

29-32: Various quests in Moreheim, IC Elites at the ENTERANCE to Ice Claw. (Brutal Ice Claw Warrior - NPCs - Aion for general location).

33-36: Elites inside Fire Temple Solo. For this join a group with a crafter or someone soloing elsewhere, and go into FT alone. Kill first 1-10 elites, exit and reset dungeon. Fast Safe Lots of xp and good drops. (http://www.aionarmor...nshots/4808.jpg for general location).

33-38: Elite Mine Outriders, Lookouts, Fencers, Overseers (Mine Supervisor - NPCs - Aion for general location).

39-43: Elite Alquimia mobs (Alquimia Infiltrator - NPCs - Aion for general location).

42-48: Elite Lepharist Assasins/Outriders in Beluslan (Alquimia)350k+
Follow this for ez way to the grind spot. Takes a good few minutes (5-6 min of running) YouTube- Indratu Bypass (Lepharist Outrider - NPCs - Aion for general location).

45 to 48 at Bakarma Stryker/Bakarma Bloodmaster/Bakarma Tyrant in Beluslan. At 46 and 47 they're giving 406k exp and take 3-4 mins. (Bakarma Bloodmaster - NPCs - Aion for general location).

48-50: Plat coin quest for items.
Plat coin mobs will give you 108k every 3 min worth of kiting, where the above will give you 348K.

XP or Loot for 48-50... your choice.
